SPEED AND CONSUMPTION:

In addition to main engine consumption, auxiliary generators & auxiliary boiler consumptions: At Sea 2.50 per day MGO for auxiliaries + Additional for reefer containers In Port 2.50 – 6.0 tons of MGO per day depending on usage of ventilators, and cranes. Small amount of MGO for starting/stopping engines and for manoeuvring. + Additional consumption for Reefers.

All speeds and consumptions are given basis clean/smooth bottom, even keel, deep and currentless water/sea with a temperature of maximum 28 degrees Celsius, wind maximum Beaufort 2 and sea not exceeding Douglas Sea State 2.
