South Florida prevailed over tropical storm Sandy and many of our long term clients showed up for our annual "Cruise the show in style" event. So successful was this event, that Lodivico Santorini and Bob Carlson flew to Nice, France to preview, survey, sea trial and purchase this like new sport yacht!!

After closing the sale on Andre's new 108' Sunseeker yacht, we all met at Club 55, a private beach club in the middle of Pampelonne Beach, St. Tropez.Quite astonishing, I must say, but with his yacht anchored off shore, and all of us eager to cruise, we were soon to be on our way. We first came up for it's white sandy beaches and then San Rapael,which offers one of the largest marinas on the French Riviera. Thankfully, we did not require it's services. Cannes was our first chance to stretch our legs in the city most revered by movie industry critics, moguls and shopaholics alike. The curving "Croisette" boardwalk, spans the entire bay and offers offers a sandy, but pebble ladenbeach, replete with famous hotelsalongside themain shopping street - Rue d'Antibes. Managing broker and President, Bob Carlson, spent months restoring his first boat, an 18' Shepard, all mahogany "Rum Runner" and has continued to share his enthusiasm for these classics with like minded yachtsmen and women at this annual event on the North shore of Lake Tahoe. After assembling a group of like minded clients, we all met at the docks the opening night and proceeded to the private dinner and gathering to follow. The rest of the week was spent speaking with dozens of the owners of these fabulously restored boats and enjoying the crystal blue waters of Lake Tahoe. As an aside, Tom Burton, owner of an 18' classic wooden Chris Craft, subsequently�visited our marina in Fort Lauderdale and bought a 38' Cigarette Top Gun! Enjoy the show!

Far from either coast, our clients and friends in the film industry joined us at the Telluride Film Festival for the debut of some spectacular films, awesome scenery, horsebackriding, 4 wheeling, hiking and trout fishing. Enjoy the slide show and hopefully you'll join us next September!
