Special Features:

  • Four (4) 18” welded kevels on port and on starboard sides of the assembled platform  •        A36 1/4” plate throughout. All seams welded inside and out below the deck plate 
  • Two (2) bulkheads welded in barge, ¼” plate.  
  • Transverse frames on 24” centers: 3”x3”x1/4” angle 
  • Longitudinal angles under deck 3- 3”x3”x1/4” on 18” centers
  • Connecting angles of 6”x4”x5/8” angle on all sides with 1-3/4” pins on 4’ centers
  • Two 12” x .500” wall thickness pipe spud wells on each section, 6” above deck
  • Sections sand blasted on outside 
  • Deck coated with two coats gray epoxy with a non-skid additive.

 

Trucking dimensions:  12’8” X 50’ X 5’6” with kevels welded on deck.  Freight charges not included.  One section per truck.  Freight quote is available upon request.  We can build to 11’11” shipping width by building barge 11’4” wide to reduce freight and escorts.

Barge Details – 2 - 12’x 50’x 5’ deep  Also 12' x 57' x 4' Sectional Spud Barges

  • Sectional Barges are raked 38 degrees one end with 12” channel head log
  • Three (3) compartments each section three (3) flush mounted watertight hatches
  • Four (4) 18” welded kevels on port and on starboard sides of the assembled platform  •        A36 1/4” plate throughout. All seams welded inside and out below the deck plate 
  • Two (2) bulkheads welded in barge, ¼” plate.  
  • Transverse frames on 24” centers: 3”x3”x1/4” angle 
  • Longitudinal angles under deck 3- 3”x3”x1/4” on 18” centers

OPTIONS: 

  • Sand blast to commercial quality for added corrosion protection.  One coat of zinc rich epoxy primer on outside of barge before epoxy coating.  Add $4,500.00 total for two sections.  
  • Heavier Frames; Replace top frame member, 3”x3”1/4” angle, with 5” x 6.7 lb. channel. Add $2,100.00 total for two sections.
