This Luhrs 31 Open is equipped with 2 fuel tanks, having a capacity of 300 gallons. One is noted as being the port tank and the other is the starboard tank, these are labeled according to the engine they supply fuel to.
The fuel tanks are equipped with a fuel level sending units; which provides an electrical signal to the fuel gauge located at the helm, to indicate the fuel level.
The port tank is the tank forward of the engines and the starboard tank is the tank located in the bilge between the engines.
